Gender Gap Pay Policy

Updated on Feb, 2024

1. Policy Statement

Aetheria Group is committed to ensuring equal pay for all our employees, regardless of gender. We strive to eliminate any gender bias in our pay structures and to promote a fair and equitable workplace. This Gender Pay statement reflects our commitment to transparency and equality, and it aligns with our core values and future legal obligations under the UK Equality Act 2010, the Equal Remuneration Act 1976 and the Maternity Benefit Act 1961 in India, the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act 2010 in Pakistan, and the Equal Pay Act of 1963 and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 in the USA.

2. Purpose

  • Outline our approach to preventing any gender pay disparities.
  • Establish our commitment to regular reporting and analysis of pay data.
  • Demonstrate our ongoing efforts to identify and rectify any pay imbalances.

3. Scope

This policy extends to all employees of Aetheria Group within the UK, where we are imminently mandated to report our gender pay gap in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017. Additionally, this policy encompasses our global divisions and locations, affirming our unwavering commitment to equal treatment for all employees, irrespective of gender, worldwide.

4. Reporting Our Gender Pay Gap

  • The difference in the average hourly pay of male and female employees.
  • The difference in the average bonus pay of male and female employees.
  • The proportion of males and females receiving a bonus.
  • The proportion of males and females in each quartile of the pay structure.

5. Addressing the Gap

  • Conducting regular pay audits to ensure fairness and equality.
  • Reviewing salary and bonus criteria to prevent gender discrimination.
  • Providing training and development to all staff to support career advancement.
  • Ensuring recruitment and promotion processes are free from bias.

6. Accountability

The Chief People Officer is responsible for overseeing the implementation of this policy and for reporting on progress to the Board. Management at all levels is responsible for ensuring adherence to this policy.

7. Review and Monitoring

This policy shall undergo an annual review, aligned with our forthcoming gender pay gap reporting, to guarantee its continued efficacy and to ensure that the measures implemented for equality are suitable.

8. Communication

Aetheria Group is committed to communicating transparently with our employees and stakeholders about our gender pay equity.

The prospective gender pay report would include specific data and analysis, which should be prepared in line with the company’s actual pay practices and legal requirements. It would typically be accompanied by a narrative that explains the reasons for the equity and the actions being taken to maintain it.
